Consultation on EMAT Admissions Policy 2025/26

We are currently consulting on EMAT's proposed admissions policy for the 2025-26 academic year.

The consultation period will run from 20th October 2023 until 31st December 2023, during which time parents and other key stakeholders are invited to express their views and any concerns about the admissions arrangements at any academy within the trust.

In accordance with the DfE’s 2021 statutory ‘School Admissions Code’ guidance, a school must consult on its admission arrangements when changes are proposed, and at least once every seven years. For this reason, a consultation is currently being held to meet the trust’s statutory duty.

The substantive changes that have been made are as follows:

  • Prince William Schoolreduce Year 7 Pupil Admission Number (PAN) from 240 to 230 to reflect school capacity.
  • Northampton International School – reduce 6th Form Pupil Admission Number (PAN) from 80 to 50. This is the number of external students the school will take in addition to children already on roll moving from Year 11 to the sixth form and reflects the increase in existing NIA students expected to transition from Year 11 to 6th Form.

A full version of the proposed admissions policy is available using the link below, or in hard copy from the reception at any trust academy.
