Spring 1 Week 3 Update:
We have had a busy week in Year 1. We have all produced some fabulous writing based on our story On Sudden Hill. We have enjoyed exploring the phrases 'Big Friends' and understanding what it means to feel strange. In maths we have started looking at numbers to 40. We have had fun counting forwards and backwards across 40 and we have enjoyed using different resources to create numbers. In science we enjoyed exploring where materials come from. We couldn't believe it when we found out that metal comes from rock and cotton comes from a plant!
Small Reminders: Reading Books need to be in their book bags EVERYDAY! Earrings must be taken out for PE please. Your child needs a named water bottle EVERYDAY!
