Capital letters are used at the beginning of a sentence, the first letter of a name and for the word ‘I’.
Full stops are used at the end of a sentence. They tell us when to take a breath when reading.
Rewrite the sentences onto the sheet or on a sheet of paper, adding in the missing capital letters and full stops. Remember to use your neatest handwriting.

It is important to think about our own wellbeing as well as other people in our house’s wellbeing at this difficult time. This week we would like you to think about how music can improve our wellbeing.
Complete the wellbeing music sheet. Think about what your favourite song is and who the artist is for this song. Now write this at the top of the page. Next draw a picture and write a sentence saying how this song makes you feel. You can either complete this onto the sheet or on a sheet of paper. Remember to use your neatest writing.
Challenge: Ask a family member what their favourite song is and how this makes them feel. Is this the same as your favourite song? Does it make them feel the same as you? Why might this be?
We would love to see or hear about some of your favourite songs. You can email these to your child’s class teacher- 2PS@castle.emat.uk (Miss Scanlan’s class) or 2IJ@castle.emat.uk (Mrs Johnson’s class). We cannot wait to see what you have done to help someone else!
